Segundo os dados do Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE), com 100% das urnas apuradas, 461.269 dos 2.432.068 eleitores aptos da regi\u00e3o faltaram, uma absten\u00e7\u00e3o de 18,97%.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">O n\u00famero \u00e9 menor que o do 1\u00ba turno, no dia 4 de outubro, quando 508.924 eleitores (20,93%) deixaram de votar nas mesmas cidades. Foram 47.655 aus\u00eancias a menos. A absten\u00e7\u00e3o caiu em todos os 15 munic\u00edpios. A taxa da regi\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m ficou abaixo da m\u00e9dia do pa\u00eds (19,22%).<\/p>\n<h3>Onde mais eleitores faltaram<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Biritiba Mirim teve a maior taxa de absten\u00e7\u00e3o do Alto Tiet\u00ea no 2\u00ba turno: 22,43% do eleitorado, ou 5.433 eleitores. Em seguida aparecem Itaquaquecetuba (21,69%) e Santa Branca (21,14%).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Em n\u00fameros absolutos, Guarulhos, que tem o maior eleitorado da regi\u00e3o, registrou o maior n\u00famero de aus\u00eancias: 166.805. Depois v\u00eam Mogi das Cruzes (69.850) e Itaquaquecetuba (55.955).<\/p>\n<h3>Onde o comparecimento foi maior<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Na outra ponta, Po\u00e1 teve a menor absten\u00e7\u00e3o da regi\u00e3o, de 16,64% (14.943 faltas entre 89.804 eleitores aptos). Ferraz de Vasconcelos (17,55%) e Guarulhos (17,58%) completam a lista das menores taxas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">A maior queda em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao 1\u00ba turno foi em Itaquaquecetuba, onde a absten\u00e7\u00e3o passou de 24,02% para 21,69%.
