As obras de prolongamento da Avenida Senador Roberto Simonsen atingiram 90% de execucao neste mes de fevereiro. A nova via, que possui uma extensao de 1,3 quilometro, entrou na etapa de aplicacao da camada de binder, um revestimento asfaltico intermediario que garante a resistencia estrutural necessaria para receber a pavimentacao final.<\/p>\n

\"\"O projeto estabelece uma conexao estrategica entre a Rua Jose de Almeida, no Jardim Marcia, e a Estrada Santa Monica, no Parque Santa Rosa. A intervencao beneficia diretamente moradores dos bairros Jardim Nena, Jardim Suzanopolis, Jardim Quaresmeira e a regiao do Jardim Casa Branca. Alem da pista para veiculos, a etapa final preve a conclusao de calcadas, ciclovia, iluminacao e sinalizacao viaria.<\/p>\n

De acordo com a Secretaria Municipal de Manutencao e Servicos Urbanos, a obra exigiu um trabalho tecnico complexo, incluindo a troca de solo para evitar deformacoes futuras e a construcao de pocos de visita para o sistema de drenagem pluvial. Estas medidas visam garantir a durabilidade do asfalto e prevenir alagamentos na regiao.<\/p>\n

O prolongamento da avenida funcionara como um eixo alternativo de circulacao para aliviar o trafego em vias saturadas da regiao central, como as ruas General Francisco Glicerio, Benjamin Constant e a Avenida Armando Salles de Oliveira. A nova rota tambem facilitara o acesso ao Complexo Viario do Alto Tiete e as alcas do Trecho Leste do Rodoanel Mario Covas. A previsao da administracao municipal e que a entrega oficial ocorra nas proximas semanas.<\/p>\n
